Community Rallies for Habitat at July 30 Bingo

Community Rallies for Habitat at July 30 Bingo Night
On July 30, more than 100 community members filled the San Andreas Town Hall for Habitat for Humanity Calaveras’ Bingo Night—an evening overflowing with generosity, laughter, and support for affordable homeownership.
Guests enjoyed a hearty dinner from The Pickle Patch, homemade cookies and desserts from our beloved Cookie Crew volunteers, and wine served by friends from Soroptimist International of Calaveras County.
The event was beautifully planned and hosted thanks to the dedication of Lisa Dawkins, Patrice Wilson, and Marilyn Smith, whose leadership made the night possible. With a lively 50/50 raffle—where the winner graciously donated their prize back—and enthusiastic community participation, the evening raised over $3,000.
Bingo Night also helped shine a spotlight on Habitat’s major initiatives: the Eureka Oaks 107-home development and our Critical Home Repair Program.
The energy in the room was undeniable. With such tremendous support and excitement, we’re already hoping to bring Bingo back again soon. Until then, we are grateful to every volunteer, partner, and guest who made July 30 such a special night. Together, we are building homes, community, and hope.
