Volunteer
At Habitat for Humanity Calaveras, we choose housing as the means to put our values into action because a decent, affordable home provides the vital foundation families need to build stable, independent lives. But real change doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it takes an entire community working side-by-side.
Whether you want to pull on a hard hat on the build site, support our daily operations behind the scenes, or represent us out in the community, there is a meaningful place for you in our family!

Your Journey Starts Here: Connect with Habitat
Ready to find your fit? Your first step in becoming a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity Calaveras is joining us for Connect with Habitat, our relaxed, in-person meetup hosted twice a month at our Angels Camp office (1311 South Main Street, Angels Camp).
These casual gatherings are designed to bring neighbors together to:
- Meet Our Team: Get to know our staff, board members, and fellow community volunteers.
- Explore Open Roles: Learn about our diverse volunteer opportunities—from hands-on framing at our 107-home Eureka Oaks neighborhood development to site preservation, office administration, and event planning.
- Discover Our Impact: Ask questions, learn about our local housing programs, and see how your unique skills directly empower local families.
No prior experience is required—just a passion for community collaboration and housing advocacy.
