Special thanks to Daniel Hopkins of Advanced Building Technology for the images.

Exciting progress continues at Eureka Oaks, and as of July, we are thrilled to report that the project remains on schedule! Significant milestones have been achieved, and the site is truly beginning to take shape as the future home for 107 families.

Currently, crews are finishing up the storm water detention basins and moving forward with critical infrastructure work, including the installation of sewer and water lines underground. Trenching has also begun for PG&E and other utility cables, paving the way for the next phase of development.

One of the most visible changes on-site is the start of retaining wall construction, adding both function and definition to the neighborhood layout. We are deeply grateful to John Allen Construction for their expert work on the retaining walls, and to Moyle Excavation for their extensive efforts in grading, excavation, and installing water and sewer systems.

Seeing the roads and lots cut in has brought an incredible sense of reality to this development—it’s no longer just plans on paper, but a thriving project taking shape before our eyes.

We also want to extend a special thank you to PACE Supply, George Reed Inc., and 711 Materials for their generous support of this project. Their partnership and contributions are helping make affordable homeownership possible for local families.

We are still on track to complete all infrastructure work by September, with our first home builds beginning shortly thereafter. This marks a major step forward in bringing safe, affordable housing to Calaveras County, and we couldn’t do it without the dedication of our partners and the support of our community.

Stay tuned for more updates as Eureka Oaks moves closer to becoming a neighborhood full of homes, hope, and opportunity!
