Hoppin’ Good Fun at the 2025 Frog Jump Parade
This year, Habitat for Humanity Calaveras was thrilled to join the 2025 Frog Jump, Ropin’ Teams and Cowboy Dreams Parade, hosted by Soroptimist International of Calaveras County—and what a fantastic time it was!
A beautiful vintage truck, generously provided by Scott and Kara Blevins, served as our float and was filled with the smiling faces of Habitat staff, friends, and volunteers. With boots, hard hats, safety cones, and of course a giant frog along for the ride, we marched through downtown Angels Camp radiating the spirit of service and community.
As we made our way down Main Street, we passed out colorful bracelets to children in the crowd while our frog friend delighted spectators with big, joyful leaps. Just like on our build sites, the parade was filled with laughter, connection, and hope.
We’re so grateful to everyone who waved, cheered, or stopped to ask how to get involved. Habitat Calaveras loves participating in community events, and this parade was a shining example of how we can build together—not just homes, but moments of joy and unity.
If you’re interested in helping us coordinate future parades or community events, we’d love to hear from you. Contact the Habitat office today—we’re looking for a volunteer just like you!
